The latest issue (2023 December, Vol.5, No.6) of Global Health & Medicine (GHM) has been officially published online. The articles will be soon available in PubMed and Web of Science Core Collection database with the latest Impact Factor of 2.6.

This issue contains a diverse selection of research articles. Topics include a re-emerging health problem - amebiasis as a sexually transmitted infection - in developed countries, the trend for country-specific disbursement between 2015 and 2020 regarding the impact of COVID-19 on development assistance for health, the prophylactic role of mitomycin C-based hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy on peritoneal metastasis of spontaneously ruptured hepatocellular carcinoma, right hemihepatectomy preserving the fluorescently visible paracaval portion of the caudate lobe, the Simplified Fournier’s Gangrene Severity Index score based on clinical features and treatment outcomes, a novel protocol for de-isolating moderately and severely immunocompromised COVID-19 patients, etc.

GHM is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed journal, published by the National Center for Global Health and Medicine (NCGM). It is published bimonthly in printed and electronic versions (Print ISSN 2434-9186, Online ISSN 2434-9194), and the first issue was published in October 2019. Articles published in GHM cover the fields of global health, public health, and health care delivery as well as the seminal and latest research on the intersection of biomedical science and clinical practice.
